One of the items that I bought this year that I am SO happy with, are these eco-friendly reusable food wraps from a company called ‘Bee’s Wrap’. Basically, these are little pieces of organic cotton covered in sustainably harvested beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin. This makes them the perfect sustainable alternative to plastic wrap.
This variety pack has 4 different sizes and they are perfect for home & travel. You can just wrap a piece of fruit, cheese or bread in them, or cover a bowl or plate. You then use the warmth of your hands to soften the wrap and form over the item, super easy! You can just wash them with water with mild soap and air dry. I already can’t live without them!
We use the purple (medium) to cover small bowls and the little bee ones (small) for pieces of cheese, so this is what we use most, but the large bee one is also perfect for loaves of bread and the medium-large blue striped ones are used when we run out of purple ones to cover bowls and wrap things like pita breads/wraps and leftover pizza in. It all works great!
