I feel that since a couple of years, Facebook groups have taken over what the oldskool forums and chatboxes did in the past decade: connecting people with a similar hobby, job, interest and passion and founding a community of like-minded people that help each other grow.
As a travel blogger / freelancer working from home, I spend a LOT of time behind the computer on my own and besides the yearly networking events and blogging conferences, there isn’t much opportunity to get together with creative and entrepreneurial people from all over the world in the same room. That’s why I love Facebook groups.
Facebook groups come in all shapes and sizes, can range from broad topics to being really quite niche, each with their own rules, daily subjects and ways you can participate. I’ve noticed lately that while I’ve limited the amount of groups I hang around in, there are few that I regularly check into -and that most of them are run by some pretty inspiring kick-ass business women. So I’d love to share them with you today!
Not all groups might be suited for you, but if the topic interests you, I would recommend asking permission to join, reading the community guidelines before you post anything and start reading some incredible stories and questions by your fellow group members. I’m sure there is lots to get out of them for you, whether you’re active in asking questions, answering them or just enjoy all the tips and advice and provide value in another way.

Which Facebook Groups are you part of that you love? Please feel free to share a link in the comments!
Great post! I am a part of many Facebook groups but to be honest, I hardly ever come across traveling entrepreneurs. I’ll be sure to follow some of these lovely and brave ladies you’ve mentioned here.
In the meantime, feel free to check out my blog as well. It’s about teaching people how to vlog like the pros.
Thanks a lot! :)
