We spend a weekend in Glasgow and found a couple of great hotspots! Today, I’d like to take you to a breakfast / coffee bar that we almost didn’t enter…
Luckily for you, we did go in and this is what we found:
Primal Roast in Glasgow, Scotland
We almost didn’t go inside because the entrance looked a bit like a metal bar or something and we just weren’t sure what to expect (and if they also served breakfast)…
But as we were discussing, one of the customers sitting behind the window stuck her thumb up to us from her window seat, so we trusted her and went in :)
And we were happy we did! There is a small deli in the front, but a much larger seating area in the back. Everything looked fresh and clean:
So happy the lady was right, as soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff
Enough choice of food… and interesting teas!
Nick went for the poached eggs on rye bread and as I’m a fussy egg-eater, I chose the breakfast burrito. How amazing did it look?!
You can get some tap water here. And talk to the house-dinosaur.
While it might not seem much from the outside from a distance, as soon as you approach you see the funky sign and bright yellow colours you know something cool is happening. We were pleasantly surprised by what we found inside! A fresh interior, fresh food, good quality coffee and tea and a great choice of food. Best way to start the day! Definitely recommend dropping in if you’re close.
