The Abel Tasman National Park is New Zealand’s smallest national park, but definitely one of the most beautiful.
Its coastal track is classed as one New Zealand’s Great Walks and in the park you can find freshwater rivers and pools, offshore islands and stretches of golden sand. Within the park there are many sites of cultural, historical and archaeological significance both to the Maori as European settlers.
One of the most popular things to do in Abel Tasman, besides hiking, is to rent a sea kayak and in this brochure you will find all the information you need. Because this brochure is from 2008, please check their website for current packages and prizes: www.seakayaknz.co.nz
