Montreal, Canada in Winter (and #LoveWinter Giveaway!)

The first rays of sun have entered London and with all the flowers blooming and blue skies you can really feel Spring is coming! For me, this makes me both happy (I love sun!) as a bit sad, because I also really like snow and had a fair share of it over the last months.

Looking back at my winter photos from Montreal in Canada, it just looks so pretty that I almost forget just how cold it was, even in the sunnier pictures, the weather was around -10 degrees Celsius!

Have a look with me:

#LoveWinter Go Canada Mittens

If there is one thing I’ve learned on this trip, is that the importance of good winter clothing cannot be underestimated when visiting a cold travel destination. So when the Canada Tourism Board gave us each a set of GO CANADA mittens, I was so happy! There were warm & soft and looked really quite awesome, don’t you agree?

If you’ve followed our #LoveWinter campaign through Canada, you probably have seen us wear the mittens everywhere we went. We got a lot of questions on where to get the mittens, so let me tell you that you can buy them online from Hudson’s Bay

…but you can also win them here on The Travel Tester!!!

I went to Montreal for the first time this past summer and I loved the city. It looks like Montreal would be perfect for visiting in the winter , -10C is actually my perfect winter temperature (as long as the wind isn’t too bad).

    Would looooove these mittens!
I’m leaving for Canada on Wednesday, so I know they wouldn’t arrive on time, but I’m sure it would be great to find them in the mailbox after I get back home!
It would make going back to work less painful:)
