Before we visited a museum in Glasgow, we decided to have breakfast and closest place we could find was the Bill’s. We knew Bill’s from London and while we didn’t always have great service before (although -update- recently we had a REALLY good experience in London, so it can depend on the day and staff, really), we took the risk as we knew the food would be good :)
Have a look at what you can expect:
Bill’s in Glasgow, Scotland
The entrance of Bill’s looks pretty boring, but it’s really about the inside that matters!
It was very busy when we arrived in the morning, so we were asked to wait for about 15 minutes, although after not even 5 minutes we were taken to our table.
Didn’t mind waiting in these funky chairs though!
We ordered a Cappuccino, mint tea, two plates of pancakes and two juices, which took forever to come out unfortunately. Our drinks arrived after our (gorgeous by the way) pancakes, and we were given the wrong juices at first, but that got fixed soon and the waitress even took them of our bill (other bill). Nice!
You can buy almost everything at Bill’s, except the kitchen sink, I guess!
As we almost already expect from dining at Bill’s, it was very busy and everybody working in the restaurant was running around, seemingly chaotic. Drinks were late, order was messed up, but in the end the food was great and we had a nice time. Would still go back a next time probably (and we’ve had better experiences at Bill’s in London). If only for the pancakes, give it a try!
